Overview

Qibla Salah Times is a prayer companion app that helps users view local prayer times, use a qibla compass, track Ramadan activity, save dua journal entries, and manage prayer reminders.

The app works without creating an account. We do not sell personal data, and we do not operate a separate user account system for the app.

Information the App Stores

The app stores settings and activity data locally on your device. This can include your saved latitude and longitude, prayer calculation preferences, adhan voice selection, reminder settings, theme choice, Ramadan logs, dua journal entries, dhikr counts, family streak entries, and prayer or fasting logs.

The app can request precise or approximate location when you choose to use local prayer times or qibla features. Your selected location is stored locally so the app can keep calculating prayer times and direction.

The app can request notification permission so it can send prayer alerts, pre-prayer reminders, and Ramadan-related reminders. It may also use Android’s SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM permission, boot restore, wake locks, vibration, foreground service media playback, and related reminder capabilities so reminders and adhan playback can keep working on your device.

The app includes Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform. These services may collect or receive device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, diagnostics, app interaction information, and similar data for advertising, privacy-choice management, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance.

How Information Is Used

• To calculate prayer times and qibla direction using your chosen location.
• To save prayer settings, reminder choices, theme preferences, and selected adhan voice on your device.
• To schedule prayer reminders, pre-prayer notices, Ramadan reminders, and adhan playback.
• To store local prayer logs, fasting logs, dua entries, dhikr counts, and family streak information that you choose to enter.
• To show ads, honor privacy choices, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To keep the app functional and improve reliability.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Google’s privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

The app may also use Google Play services for location and related device capabilities needed to provide prayer-time and qibla features.

Data Retention

Location settings, prayer preferences, logs, reminders, and journal entries remain on your device until you change them, delete them in the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app.

We do not operate a separate server that stores your prayer logs, fasting logs, dua journal content, dhikr counts, or saved location for this app.

Advertising, diagnostics, and related data handled by Google AdMob or Google User Messaging Platform may be retained according to Google’s own policies and legal obligations.

Data Deletion

You can remove locally stored app data by deleting entries inside the app where available, clearing the app’s storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app from your device.

If you send a privacy or deletion request to support@coworkster.com, we will review the request and delete any information we control that can reasonably be linked to you, unless we must keep limited information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Because most Qibla Salah Times data is stored only on your device and not on our servers, clearing app storage or uninstalling the app is the main way to remove that data.

Children

This app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy when the app changes or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
