ShiftSpark Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 5, 2026 · Last updated: May 23, 2026

The short version: ShiftSpark stores your schedule and pay settings on your device. Coworkster does not operate a server that receives your shift pattern, pay rate, notes, or schedule settings. The app displays ads through Google AdMob, which may collect and share limited data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.

ShiftSpark is a mobile app from Coworkster that helps users plan rotating work schedules, preview upcoming workdays, and estimate shift pay. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information You Enter in the App

ShiftSpark lets you enter schedule and pay settings such as a shift pattern, pattern start date, hourly rate, shift length, night differential, and overtime threshold. This information is stored locally on your device so the app can show your schedule and pay estimates. Coworkster does not operate a separate server for ShiftSpark and does not receive this information from the app.

Optional Sharing

If you choose to use the Share schedule button, ShiftSpark prepares a text schedule preview and opens the Android share sheet so you can choose another app to receive it. Coworkster does not receive that shared content.

Advertising

ShiftSpark displays ads using Google AdMob and uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to show privacy and consent choices where required. Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or advertising identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit.

Permissions

ShiftSpark uses internet and network-state permissions so AdMob ads and consent messages can load. The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, photos, files, or calendar.

Children

ShiftSpark is intended for working-age adults and is not directed to children or teens under 18.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your schedule and pay settings remain on your device until you change them, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. Coworkster does not operate a server-side account, cloud sync service, or developer-controlled backup for ShiftSpark. Android system backup behavior, if available on an older installed version, is controlled by the user’s Android or Google backup settings.

You can delete locally stored ShiftSpark data by clearing the app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app.

Third-Party Services

ShiftSpark uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Google’s privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Changes to This Policy

Coworkster may update this privacy policy when the app changes or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
