The short version. Your sensitive cycle, prayer, fasting, mood, note, and madhhab entries stay on your phone. We do not have a server that receives those entries. Google AdMob and Google Play services may process advertising ID, approximate location, app interaction, diagnostics, device information, and similar technical data for ads, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance.

Data we collect and store on your device

The following information is stored locally on your device using Android app storage. It is not sent to our servers. We do not operate any servers that receive this data.

Data shared with third parties

Tuhr displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process the following to serve, limit, measure, and improve ads:

AdMob does not receive your cycle data, prayer logs, fasting data, mood, notes, madhhab, or any other private content you enter in Tuhr.

Google's handling of advertising and diagnostics data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android device settings under Google > Ads.

How information is used

Data Retention

Cycle records, religious catch-up notes, settings, onboarding state, and any notes you enter remain in the app's local storage on your device until you delete them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.

We do not operate a separate account backend or server that stores your period entries, prayer logs, fasting records, notes, or saved settings for this app.

Advertising, diagnostics, and related data handled by Google AdMob or related Google services may be retained according to Google's own policies and legal obligations.

Data Deletion

You can delete locally stored Tuhr data at any time by deleting entries inside the app where available, opening Settings and tapping Clear all data, clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app from your device.

If you send a privacy or deletion request to support@coworkster.com, we will review the request and delete any information we control that can reasonably be linked to you, unless we must keep limited information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Because Tuhr stores private cycle, prayer, fasting, mood, and note data only on your device and not on our servers, clearing app storage or uninstalling the app is the main way to remove that data.

Data we do not collect

Permissions we request

The fixed current build does not use notification scheduling, exact alarms, boot-restore reminders, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise-location permissions.

Health and sensitive information

Tuhr handles menstrual-cycle, prayer, and fasting information that can be sensitive. This information stays on your device unless you choose to share it outside the app. Tuhr is for personal tracking and educational support only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Children

Tuhr is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children or teens. If you believe a child or teen has used the app or contacted us with personal information, please contact us and we will assist with deletion.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. Because we do not hold your cycle data on any server, the only data we can act on is information you email to us directly. To exercise rights related to Google's ad processing, use Google's privacy controls at https://support.google.com/policies/answer/9581826.

Security

Your private entries are protected by Android app sandboxing and your device security settings. We recommend using a device screen lock and deleting local data before sharing or selling the device.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the Last updated date above. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes where appropriate.
